This was a peculiar Printer install as the printer was wirelessly connected to a public network! So there is no safety what so ever on control of who can add or print, since there is not an Active Directory (AD) in the environment. So we secured the administration panel with a password. and wee adviced themt o get a personal router and create their own mini network. The printer install and consultation went well and we were able to resolve the immediate issues and properly configure the printer. we requested that a DHCP reservation also be made for the pritner in case of any network changes that could cause outages.
